 Principles I want to include in my classroom!


BEING A FRIEND TO EVERYONE

- I know how much of a difference this can make in the classroom. When our classroom is connected, more learning can take place! I want my students to feel that this is a safe space to learn and grow together.

NEW CULTURE

-As a music teacher, I want to find ways to include more culture into their learning. Introducing new people and places through music is a great way for students to become exposed to more culture and to have those new ideas influence them for the better.

KNOW MY STUDENTS

-I want to be there for students. I want them to trust me as I trust them. By being a person who can listen and make the lessons adapt to their life, I believe I can make those hard learning topics fun! I want my classroom to be somewhere they look forward to spending their time at school in.

  Hello! My Name is Taylor Robinson! I am from Mesa, Arizona! I am the oldest in my family of five girls. I am a Music Education major with an emphasis in band. I've been playing piano since I was 5 and flute since I was 10 years old. I did marching band, concert band, and full symphony orchestra during high school.
