Making Music Fun

 Principles I want to include in my classroom! BEING A FRIEND TO EVERYONE - I know how much of a difference this can make in the classroom. When our classroom is connected, more learning can take place! I want my students to feel that this is a safe space to learn and grow together. NEW CULTURE -As a music teacher, I want to find ways to include more culture into their learning. Introducing new people and places through music is a great way for students to become exposed to more culture and to have those new ideas influence them for the better. KNOW MY STUDENTS -I want to be there for students. I want them to trust me as I trust them. By being a person who can listen and make the lessons adapt to their life, I believe I can make those hard learning topics fun! I want my classroom to be somewhere they look forward to spending their time at school in.

 Things I want to include in my classroom! MATERIALS -I want to have all materials and tools necessary to have a fun, learning full classroom! Fun projects and assignments using new materials can expand students learning and let their creativity flow!

  Hello! My Name is Taylor Robinson! I am from Mesa, Arizona! I am the oldest in my family of five girls. I am a Music Education major with an emphasis in band. I've been playing piano since I was 5 and flute since I was 10 years old. I did marching band, concert band, and full symphony orchestra during high school. I absolutely love anything and everything music! It has changed my life for the better and made me into the person I am today. I also love being with my friends and family and creating memories and laughter with them! I am currently a student at BYU Idaho and am working to receive my bachelor's in music education. My dream is to be an elementary music teacher in my hometown.
